    Malamang dadalhin nila dito sa pinas eh yung EcoBoost 1.6 and 2.0. Masyadong mahal ang 2.5L Duratec version.

    If the specs are same with US version, it packs with 240hp*5500? OMG

    Yes, it's the same 240hp 2.0 EcoBoost engine found in the Explorer EcoBoost.
    A lower trim model may also be sold here, most likely with a smaller 178hp 1.6 EcoBoost engine.

    Doon sa original 1st post ko na link, naka indicate doon na it will try to match Forester XT. Halos the same HP but medyo mataas daw and torque ng Escape at 366nm vs XT's 350nm

    Yeap. They plan to compete with Forrester. The only downside of the upcoming escape, this model is very old. 2012 pa yata nilabas eto sa US. Malamang pagpasok dito sa pinas eh palit lang ng bumper para magmukhang bago.
