    I'm also hoping for just a minimal price increase over the current model, in the US the 1.0 EcoBoost is going to be an option, no prices yet, but current EcoBoost options on other Ford models start at $795 (P34K) over the standard larger displacement NA engines.

    Here's the thing, as of this moment, all 1.0 EcoBoost models of Ford sold in other countries are only mated to 5-speed manuals.
    It would be interesting to see if the 1.0 model will be sold here with a MT, if so, the added cost of the EcoBoost engine will be cancelled out by having a lower priced (but more fun) Manual Transmission (instead of a Powershift transmission).

    Yup, like its bigger EcoBoost siblings, the 1.0 liter EcoBoost is also turbocharged and direct injected.

    It's not, its a petrol (gasoline) engine that is turbocharged and direct injected, that's how it produces extra power.

    Same concept used in the 240hp 2.0 liter EcoBoost found in the FWD Explorer Limited sold here.

    PS: Are you familiar with the Impreza WRX STI? Although a bit of a gas guzzler, that has a 300hp 2.5 liter turbocharghed 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 407Nm (300ft-lb) of torque.

    The new Fiesta was launched yesterday, it will go on sale next month. The initial 8 model lineup will be powered by the 112PS 1.5 liter Ti-VCT engine. The top of the line 1.0 EcoBoost model will follow later this year.

    I unbelievably just saw a facelifted fiesta in alabang, sadlt no pics
    It was a white hatchback, probably a sport model, with a plate no starting with ux
    It looks great
    looks like the ecoboost will be expensive probably 900k, it has to be a decent amount more than 868k

    saw a blue colored fiesta on display in fort. ang ganda ng pagka blue. hope they can lower down their price
