    Ambiente 2.2 4x2 M/T: P 1,339,000
    Ambiente 2.2 4x2 A/T: P 1,399,000
    Trend 2.2 4x2 A/T: P 1,539,000
    Titanium 2.2 4x2 A/T: P 1,639,000
    Titanium 3.2 4x4 A/T: P 1,899,000
    Titanium Premium 3.2 4x4 A/T: P 1,999,000

The Titanium Premium 3.2 4x4 A/T is an optional package for the regular Titanium 3.2 4x4 A/T. The Premium package comes with these goodies:

HID projector-type headlamps with auto-leveling and headlamp washer
    LED daytime running lights
    8-way power adjustable passenger seat
    Power Fold third-row seat
    Power Liftgate
    240-volt inverter
    Panoramic Moonroof
    Heads-up Display
    Adaptive Cruise Control
    Lane Keeping Aid
    Collision Mitigation

For an additional P100k, the Titanium Premium Everest is the new value for money TOTL Thai SUV. Easily beats its rivals, though we may have to wait for the final specs of the upcoming Hilux and Fortuner.

Are they still including Active Noise Cancellation with the Titanium Premium TOTL? This is one of the better "differentiators" against competition. It wasn't in the list of features during the Alabang launch last night.

    No Start-Stop button? Proximity key?

From the pics of the interior from the Alabang launch it seems it has the same key fob (switch blade style) as the present Ranger.

Tama lang naman ang pricing ah:

    Entry Level:
    Everest - 1.399M
    Fortuner - 1.375M

    Mid-Range:
    Everest - 1.539M/1.639M
    Fortuner - 1.525M

    TOTL:
    Everest - 1.899M
    Fortuner - 1.820M

The Ford Sync and 20" rims alone already justifies the price difference. Not to mention that the Everest is the newer, bigger truck.

The Fort is already 1.835... nut much cheaper than the TOTL Everest without the extra goodies.

    -

    Everything else is under 1.8m.

    -

Still, the pricing, given what they showed us at the launch, seems proper. I would've guessed the Eve would top out at just under 2m already without the premium package, so the power-fold third row, power tailgate and panoramic roof are a welcome surprise (they didn't have a unit specc'ed with that at the launch, though... sayang.

    -

I guess some people are shocked because the old Eve was so damn cheap... but come on... that was a TRUCK... all the other competitors are semi-modern SUVs, the old Everest was still a Hilux Surf - style pick-up conversion.

This new car feels a whole lot like a baby Explorer. Thoroughly modern inside and out. And it has pretty impressive traction (locking rear diff!!!111!!! ) and articulation for a stock truck. You'll probably need to spend Rubicon money to get better out of a stock SUV.

There's a lot going for this new Everest. It looks great, features are superb and it's pretty well priced. It might be our Ranger's partner in the family's fleet very soon hehehe

I thought Ford already upgraded and reengineered the Puma Duratorq engines? I thought the upgrading and reengineering of the Puma engines already addresses the defects of those engines in the 2012-2014 Rangers? Why there would be a recall of the engines if they were upgraded and reengineered for the new Everest and the facelifted Ranger?

its a limited recall for the 160ps 2.2 engine. not verified if the new everest to be delivered are affected.

    2012-2014 2.2 engines are 150ps only.

How come they would have a recall if those upgraded engines are not yet being used by the motoring public even in other countries? The facelifted Ranger and the all Everest hasn't been sold yet. Di pa nabebenta sa lahat ng market may recall na agad

Yeah the cabin cools so much faster with the sunroof open. It even beats 4 windows open imo.
