Went to Ford Pampanga this mrng to get my plates and saw newly arrived one 3.2 wildtrak auto and three manual 2.2 mildtraks. Sales manager is convincing me to upgrade my XLT automatic to wildtrak, according to him he can sell it right away since it's a hot item. His exact word is " Ginto ngayon 'yan Sir mas rare pa ngayon 'yan sa 3.2 wildtrak maraming naghahanap ng ganyan. Yung last units na dumating last year may price increase na" Ang sabi ko sa kanya "ganun ba eh di mas lalong hindi ko ibebenta unit ko kasi limited edition lang pala XLT Auto. Sa mga nka-XLT Auto congrats! Best buy and value for money talaga units natin :-)

it's my first Pick up or UTE as for Australians and BAKKIE for South Africans

I've been driving automatics but I'm so amazed of the 3 modes of the auto tranny specifically the SPORT mode it learns your driving style adapts to different terrain it even senses if you need to engine brake so there's no need to frequently step on the brake pedal even when driving down Kennon road unless you really want to stop or make a sudden stop. When you drive in AUTO mode it's really economical because it doesn't slow down immediately when you let go of the accelerator, hindi sya agad nag-engine brake it just coast so you can just drive along parang ang effect is nag-shift ka sa neutral kung naka-manual tranny ka. Now when you're on MANUAL mode... you're the MAN! Your wish is its command

But my best experience in driving the ranger is in RELAX mode which is AUTO + CRUISE CONTROL. Just drive set the cruise control to the speed limit and cruise along, when the car ahead is slower press CANCEL it will slow down then press RESUME and you're back to the preset speed.

If the 3.2 is "WILDTRAK" and the 2.2 version is "MILDTRAK" our XLT Auto is the "ECOTRAK" derived from Ford's EcoBoost... he, he, he.

How's the ride? Replaced my rear shocks with Ironman Foam Cell shocks then removed one leaf spring. The ride improved but not that much.

Mods was done in lipa city by PMI... They specialize in custom off road setups. It cost me 38k for this mod.

I think you should! mags is 20 inch and tire is nitto terra grappler 275 60 R20 and yes 6 holes ang ranger.
