8 hours ako nag drive so hindi ko sya pinapatay nun... pagka uwi ko galing kami ng Bolinao Pangasinan, 8 hours drive diba? ngayon I cooled down the Engine for 20mins before I turn it off... pero still nag SHAKE or VIBRATE sya ng MALAKAS... What to do now?

Nasaktan ata ang baby ko....

bakit ganon? Nakaka takot mukang lalabas ung engine nung nang yari yun....

tawagan mo dealership mo to inform then about this and ask them for check up appointment...
i punta mo sa dealership mo, wag muna galawin para no issue.

For me, I won't install hood scoop because it is not necessary, may affect aerodynamic, and it doesn't improve appearance per my taste. Sorry if discouraging. Peace

What are you referring to? The rims? They look good to me

The trick to the Ranger's manual shifting is relaxed shifting. This is no sports car and, even tho its not a long throw (compared to the hilux), its not a short shifter either. So shift slowly as if you let the transmission pull in the slot of the stick. Do not force the stick to its slots. Then do clutch blending after each shift.

Slow and relaxed driving is the way to go. 1st and 2nd gear could really be sloooow at times but when the turbo kicks in, there will be no problem. Actually ang mamomroblema yung nasa likuran mo. Akala niya babagal bagal ka tapos pag pumalo na turbo kamot ulo siya. LOL.

Agree with you. I find it easier to shift now after using it for 7T km.

Grabe 20 mins idling? And yet nag rattle yun engine. So how much cool down is required to avoid engine rattle? interested to hear what service Centre would recommend. I also encounter engine rattle despite few mins cool down.

If you were driving hard and hot, a 1 minute idling period or a few minutes of sensible driving before shut down should be enough to let the turbo cool down and receive fresh oil. If the turbo is too hot and does not receive cooler oil upon shutdown, the oil could become burnt and "coking" may occur. This is more of an issue with non synthetic oils.

Yeah, 20 minutes is too long. Unless you live right by the highway, usually relaxed driving on smaller streets to get to your garage may already be enough cool down. An additional 1 or 2 minute buffer would be enough on top of the slower driving.
