    Hello again guys!

Which Ford branch can you guys recommend me for test drives ng Ranger MT/AT? I wanna test drive it in real road conditions like for example our crappy cement highway EDSA and the like. I want to compare the ride to my shaky Hilux. If it is significantly better I might really get the Ford na if not i might go for an SUV for real comfort driving + FC .

FC input of the 4x2 AT in pure city driving compared to the MT would be greatly appreciated.

Mukhang matatagalan pa dating ng unit (A/T) namin. They are only accepting cash payment for the M/T version. Most SA's I talked to said that there is a shipment coming this 2nd week of December and all of the units are already reserved.

is there a way to have a secure compartment type thing to install on the bed of the Ranger? Usong uso kasi basag kotse now and there are times you cannot avoid leaving valuables inside the vehicle. I guess these thieves caught on the fact na kapag binasag lang windows, that wont trigger the alarm. What I normally do is place valuables in the trunk so that its not visible from the outside, plus opening the trunk would trigger an alam but in this case wala trunk ang Ranger. Im not a big fan of having a camper shell though...

    any thoughts guys?

AFAIK, a roller lid or hard tonneau are lockable. And there are some pick-up bed managers that will allow you to use up only the easily accessible portion to put your gear/valuables so they do not scatter all over the bed when you're in motion. Try inquiring with Ride and Carryboy.

My Feedback on ranger ride, sa front comfortable. But rear passengers commented bumpy ride. Maybe due to my tire inflation at 38psi. Dapat lower Kung no load. Hope others can comment sa ride especially sa rear.

How about getting innova? I know it has comfortable ride. I just find the design kinda plain.

    Thanks for the feedback!

The Innova? No thanks ;) I really dig the trucks especially the ranger because it is like a 3 in 1 vehicle. A sedan, van and suv! Haha and the macho look. Thanks! Will go for after market suspensions

I talked to a technical guy at Ford yesterday. I asked him why many MT owners have trouble with shifting and often experience engine stalling. He revealed that Ford Ranger 2012 went back to SINGLE MASS FLYWHEEL system. Yung mga lumang ranger had the Dual Mass system. suggestion ng technical is to get used to it.. I search online and found out there is a conversion kit to solve the issue:
What is the difference of the single and dual mass?

You don't want a dual mass.

100k is a bit much. A dual mass flywheel costs between 30-50k. But yeah, it's a pain-in-the-ass to replace. There is the possibility of rebuilding it, but better to just do without.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    salamat ng marami.
Config is in manual. Its speed sensing lock so yeah you need to check by speed to check.

This is the config I want. I saw a white version of this in QC. Did they say how much it was?

I read up on single and dual. Good they went back to single

Thanks JX290 for the price quote.

Looks like they really made the ranger a workhorse. Any news on the IFS if built tough too?

Clutchpro Single Mass Flywheel Conversion Kit for Mazda BT50 & Ford Ranger - The ClutchPro product range

The new Ranger as well as any other pickup is not really built for comfort, especially pag dumaan ka CDO-Iligan highway.
That is understandable especially if you're coming from an SUV. Heck my 10 year old Trooper is still more comfortable than my new ranger..
Pero IMHO, i tested the new 2.5 Hilux, Chevy Colorado, and 2012 Strada and i would say halos parehos ang Strada at Ranger on the top in terms of comfort..
    Sir duramax,
You from butuan-zamboanga area po? Parang sukat na sukat mo po yun distance ng area hehe:-)

Anong brand ang kinabit sayo? Tig1k lang ang back up sensor at walang issue sa warranty yun kasi dagdag at hindi palit.
