Sir Jut, malapit na po kasi ako mag 20k PMS kaya nagcacanvass na ako and it seems you got the best deal.

Would it be okay if list nyo ano ginawa sa ranger nyo for the 20k PMS?

Pwede rin po ba mahingi iyong contact/name ng SA nyo sa Ford Makati pati na rin name nyo sabihin ko sana kayo iyong nagrefer if ok lang?

Nakapagtataka ang ranger 2.2 (xlt, manual) aircon. Kahit nasa minimum ka na, ang lamig pa rin lalo na pag gabi. Minsan naman sa araw parang kulang naman sa lamig. Kaya once, inalam ko kung bakit, baka kasi thermostat nya defective, found out na timer control (thru the pcm)ang engagement ng a/c clutch on and off. Parang hindi effective ang ganitong method of control, enconvenient sa atin. Found out thru observation: on a/c knob temp control, minimum setting= a/c engaged for 3 sec only and off(disengaged) for 20 sec. these goes on continually cycling like this. On 1st line=a/c engaged for 4 sec. and off for 15 sec. On line 2=a/c on for 5 sec and off for 10 sec. On line 3=a/c on for 8 sec and off for 8 sec. On maximum setting, a/c on for 15 sec and off for 8 sec. Kaya pala hindi masyado effective ang cooling control ng unit natin. Sana thru thermostat na lang ang control ng a/c.

wow! that was a long thread. read the entire thing.
i'm planning to get a diesel fed suv or pick up soon. still trying to decide which to get but the current ranger is definitely in my crosshair.

I don't think so. If i were you i'll bring it back to the dealer so they will be the one to see if it is normal or not. At least magkaron ng record to help you in any warranty claim later.

good day mga sirs. newbie lang po sa tsikot pero lurker na dati pa. i have a 2014 ranger and may nabili ako 4300k 55w HID kit sa abroad. ako na nag DIY sa pag kabit since plug and play lang naman sya. ngayon, gumana naman sya nung nakapatay ang engine nung tinest ko for 5mins. nung in-on ko na, ayaw na nya gumana ulit. binalik ko yung stock bulbs since mabilis lang naman ikabit. ayaw na din nya mag on. ano kaya problema? Thanks in advance.

Did you touch the filament itself?

Chances are, nahawakan mo yung filament which causes premature failure of the bulb.

di nahawakan sir. careful ako kasi sensitive yung halogen at HID bulbs. yung binalik ko lahat sa stock, di na gumana lahat pati wala na yung click sound. checked the fuse, buo lahat. ano kaya?

uh oh! na-detect ng bcm yang hid mo so ni-off nya ang head lights. gumamit ka ba ng relay? dapat yung oem headlight bulb socket naka-salpak sa relay, at yung relay ang mag-power ng hid. pag rekta lang e yan ang result. pa-reset mo sa casa. pag mabait yung service manager ok lang, pag hindi e bye bye electrical warranty!


btw, may projectors ba na housing yang hid mo? if wala then, well, good na hindi gumana. baka kasi madami lang magalit sa iyo sa sabog na head lights mo, kaka-glare kasi yan pag hindi naka-projectors.
