Of course they will choose to give the available unit to clients that are willing to go with their terms. That includes DI, in house financing, in house insurance. If you are willing to put a blind eye on this just to get the ranger, you can have the car without waiting too much since you will be priority. If not, yes you can fall in line and wait forever. Yes but its not how you show good business ethics. You sell vehicles, you dont bid them to the highest bidder. For some its just a matter of principle and values. Hindi naman ginto ang ranger its just another pickup truck.

I totally agree with this. They (Ford Commonwealth) even said that it will take years to get a unit if you opt to have it Bank PO'd instead of their in-house financing terms. Even some of their clients who agreed with in-house terms who reserved since October 2012 pa still don't have their units. It all boils down if the D.I. you agreed upon is higher than the other clients para you can jump onto the top of the waiting line. Well in my opinion, "time = money/gold", it's either you pay higher now or you wait for forever. In the end, same lang ang beliefs natin na "it's worth the wait" and "it's worth the money".

p.s. would've bought a different pick-up (d-max, bt-50, strada, hilux, colorado, etc) when i found out about Ford's f'in expensive D.I. and in-house insurance but the 3.2 wildtrak is really the winner.

I got mine after 3 days thru bdo bank PO. Its a maual xlt tho.

I agree every buyer has a different perspective. What's shitty tho is that the local dealers take advantage. Yes its a good move on their end (business aspect) but who cares about their business anyway? I mean I bought one because I want one, not because I want them to earn more.

I'm sure even those willing to pay for the DI would've preferred otherwise.

ps: I think other car manufacturers does this also.

If it's XLT, it's easy to get one. But for the Wildtrak, medyo mahirap. My brother even got his just after a day (paid 50% cash, also Manual XLT). But I heard from Ford Commonwealth that there will be bulk shipments of XLT (about 50+ units per dealer, mostly MT) arriving this December or January to accomodate the very high demand dito sa Pinas (Well only for the XLT). I guess this is their strategy 'cause mayroong bagong lalabas na model for hilux or strada (Just my guess).

I also asked kung bakit mahirap makakuha ng AT na ranger or wildtrak. They explained na in other europian and asian countries, they all prefer Automatic instead of Manual. So sa atin tinatapon lahat ng MT. Nakakainis diba?

Sobrang bad trip talaga. The manual kasi is so balky to shift and it being a 6 gear setup added difficulty kasi you tend to shift more. The matic is really the way to go for a big vehicle like this.

That's us sir. We have the money to buy the Ranger 3.2 WT pero ayaw namin sa mataas na DI just because it's highway robbery. What I also like about them is they never forced us on getting the V-Kool SPF promo nila na 13.5k VK series full windshield + OEM 05 wraparound.

In our case, we are willing to wait. As my dad said 3 Sundays ago, the Ranger 3.2 WT is worth the wait.

Its a good choice, the ranger. Nakakainis lang talaga yang DI kung sino man nag imbento niyan should be hanged hehe. Bro iba ang ride ng ranger ha. The colorado is muh more forgiving. Ive driven a colorado. Parang suv siya. Ang ranger may pagka truckish talaga

In our case, basta mabigyan ng allocation ang team ng SA ko, then we are good to go. Hindi totoo if you didn't opt for the higher DI you won't get a unit in 4-12 months. It really boils down to the allocation of the unit. No choice na rin si Global City na magplace ng order from the plant since our approved bank PO is already with them and serves as our reservation. Kaya naiorder na yung sa amin pero still waiting for an allocation.

If you already have a bank PO, then sure na yun na you're the no. 1 in line for the next deliveries from the plant. But what I'm trying to say, even most of the dealers tell me, is that the dealers don't control what kind of wildtrak unit (AT/MT) and color (white/black/orange) will be allocated to them even if they placed multiple specific orders sa plant. The plant in Calamba lang tlga nagddecide, not the dealers. What I strongly suggest sir is ask your S.A. if there is a 3.2 unit that is arriving this month in Ford Global. Ask him/her about the P.O.P. (Pull-out plan) email they received from the plant. It's how they know kung ano ang naka-allocate sa kanila na units. My dealer got theirs last August 5 pa. For sure they got theirs narin on the same day. Hope this helps, sir.

    SRP: 1,349,000
    DP: 600,000
    DI: 14,980 lang
    Insurance: 38,000
    LTO: 9,800

    Freebies:
Tools, EWD, ERA, Matting and 3M tint lang + 15L of diesel

DI is computed in your loanable amount not the SRP kaya pwede na. Other dealers is asking 100k for 3.2 WT, 80k for 2.2WT and 30k sa XLT.

We are not getting ours this month due to the Chinese Ghost month. We are targeting to get it from September onwards.

take advantage din ang ford dahil so far mahina competitors ng ranger this time.
Kapag dumating na ang new dmax and strada magpopromo ang ford.

Djerms, that is a good move on your part. Blanking will save you a lot of money in the long run. How much charge ng Berrima?

Very slight but noticeable iprovement sa low end ang mararamdaman niyo sa blanking. Tapos significantly less smoke on hard acceleration. Experience is based on a Montero. Also planning to do this if ever we get our Ranger.
