Yes. I use the 5 second rule if I dropped it at home and it's dry food.

I was very surprised when my OC seatmate at work ate food that fell on the floor at work area. He goes by the 5 second rule as well.

five-second rule states that food dropped on the ground will not be significantly contaminated with bacteria if it is picked up within five seconds of being dropped

They should've tested the item before and after dropping it.

in my house and masarap yung food na nahulog? of course i'd eat it! lalo na kung meatball..
malinis ang sahig sa house namin.
at hilong-hilo pa yung mga mikrobyo, hindi pa sila toxic. hilo sila hanggang 10 seconds..

but in public places... kahit chicharon pa yan...

    N-O-!

    hindi puwede yan!

    sahig namin laging tuyo.

    parang pandan at strawberry goo.
pag nalaglag dun siguro yung pandesal baka puwede na.
    kunwari hindi ko alam.

of all places i have been to and dined, the most stringent sanitation regulations regarding food, food establishments , food preparation systems and food preparation equipment is on guam. the restaurants (from medium range budget to five star hotels) in the main land u.s., europe and some parts of asia, the guam standards are sometimes equaled but never surpassed except the street food establishment
