try din ng single malt after sipping popular blended ones[emoji2960] its a travel exclusive sabi ng pinoy sa auh duty free at a discounted price. ok naman as a starter, it sips neat and smoother and it matched the inihaw na "teksas pullet" [emoji28] (culled some of my young gamefowl hens to save feeds sa farm). can't find a 12 or 18yo dalmore (may available pero yung mahal). kaka-ubos din daw ng yamazaki at pinapakyaw ng mga pinoy kung available. plenty of those "glens" brands pero next time naman, mabigat magbitbit. i bought 2 other travel exclusive bottles i forgot the names, next uwi sa June saka ulit tikman, tambay muna sa mini bar[emoji23]

Suntory is one of the most common brands in Japan (much like Asahi). It should be affordable.

Whooah! I remember this Old Parr. My late dad had this at home in my younger days. I used to sneak a shot when he’s not at home. I guess I developed my taste for liquor at a young age.

Here’s one good whiskey at a decent price. Jameson Irish whiskey is smoother than most blended Scotch whisky like Johnny Walker.

Jameson din iniinom namin. Hindi lasang kahoy like JW.

May mabili bang Hibiki Harmony dito at a decent price? Mas mahal pa sa JW Blue mga nakikita ko.

If you’re going to spend for JW Blue Label, you might as well buy single malts like Glenfiddich or Glenlivet or Kavalan.

I will look for that Hibiki Harmony but I guess it may not be that affordable.

When I first tried Hibiki Harmony, it was just ¥4,980 at Don Quijote. And no per person limit. After a while, same price pa din, but only 1 or 2 bottles per adult, depending on the store.

After less than 2yrs, naging ¥8,000 na sya, still 1 bottle per adult. But always out of stock.

Now nasa ¥10,000 na and still out of stock.

Buy two bottles- one for immediate consumption and one for collection.
