It's Landmark for me. SM mataas talaga magpatong and funny thing is people think they offer the cheapest price.

From around our area, Puregold ang pinakamura. Sari-sari store friendly kasi presyo nila. Problema lang, sobrang bagal sa cashier, kahit konti tao antagal ng pila. It has been like that ever since it opened almost 10 years ago kaya di na kami umulit dun.

From my observation, some supermarkets that have high markup...pero hindi consistent across all products, depende rin siguro sa usapan with the suppliers:

    - Shopwise. Saving grace is that they have a lot of promos esp. with the meats/poultry
    - Rustans
    - SM(you pay for the supplier's shelf space)
    - Unimart(which is odd, same owner naman ata as Cash n Carry?)

Haven't been to Landmark in a while, last visit ko they're not the cheapest.

Cash n Carry seems cheaper...although me local grocery kasi malapit sa amin, basta local products mas mura siya(wala kasing aircon :p)

south supermarket pinakamura, if you did your grocery lets say 1500 worth of goods on shopwise, sm, robinson's supermarkets, you'll save around 150-250 pesos on south supermarket. hey pang-gasolina at parking din yun. just on't buy n their meat/poultry section. isa pang masm ura by a bit sa unimart in gh.

    ^Shopwise for meats here.

Landmark is not the cheapest but they have a good selection at a fair price and convenience matters if you're based in the CBD often.

Buy one, take one yung Haagen whatever ice cream sa S&R... pero di pa rin ako bumibili (happy na ako sa Arce Dairy).

BTW, di kaya dapat i-merge nalang ito sa Supermarket/Grocery thread?

I have a specific brand of Apple that I use as benchmark. I buy it from P42-45 at Landmark. I've bought it in Unimart, SM and Cash & Carry and it goes for at least P50.
