Pare sa all rest na nag dae us ng wife ko nothing beats manila hotel or diamond. Well Ambiance is perfect yun food soso. You could also try yun sa Casa Marcos sa Ghills, it;s an old house. Or Sonia's Garden sa Tagaytay then bahala ka na kung saan mo gus2 2moluy... hehehe...

correct me if im wrong but i have the understanding that you celebrate your monthsaries in some romantic restaurants. for a change, try something simple, something different.
maybe punta kayo sa arcade. play against each other, together. go ice-skating. have your pictures taken sa neoprints. have fun. have a good laugh.
be creative (and romantic) na lang kung pa'no mo ibibigay ang gift mo sa kanya. if lagi ka may gift sa kanya, siguro let her feel (kunyari lang) na wala kang gift sa kanya. or while you're out, let somebody bring the gift na lang sa bahay nila. get the picture?

Basikee- thanks.. hmmm... mukhang okay talaga dun ah....

dyelibins - lam mo.. tama ka... actually i really want us to spend kahit dinner lang tapos bahala na...

TSIKOTEERS - actually tinanung ko siya kanina kung may plans siya for our monthsary.. and nagulat talaga ako sa sagot niya sa akin..

sabi niya.. she wanted to stay kahit sa apartment niya, watch VCD, kwentuhan, kulitan, magluto daw kami tsaka kami mageat.. Tek!!! i wasnt expecting that answer from her talaga... hehehe Sobrang simple lang niya...

breakfast in bed.. At least pahinga lang kami... and magkasama kami..

    thanks for all your suggestions....

Tsaka in terms of finances nad budget, konti lang ang gagastuhin mo. I remembered my first month with my GF. Anyway, Sir Mugen, I'd go for the suggestion of your GF.

yung lounge ng discovery hindi sa rooftop. It's on a high floor though. Parang via mare sa tektite. You can try there din.

ok nga sa sonia's, if you're into veggies. hehe

The 'lounge' in Discovery Suites is on the 22nd Floor(out of 42 floors). The view is great, the lights are dim, just pick a spot near the windows and away from the bigger tables.

Does anyone know of a romantic rooftop resto in makati or ortigas?

There used to be Top of the Citi. Don't know if it's still open. Le Souffle operates the restaurant. It used to be on the top floor of the Citibank Tower in Makati.

Sorry, last time I went there was 3 years ago. Don't know the number na... Pero you can go around the open area to see the view.

    mugen,
    here are specifics.
go to alda's along adriatico. it's a quaint little place that is quiet and not so popular. they serve the best raviolli. avoid places like makati - overrated na yun. alda's will cost you about 700 for both of you na yun.

thanks for all the suggestions tsikoteers...

hmmm.... tapos na yung 2nd monthsary namin and i may say hahahaha grabeng saya and romantic na rin yun para sa min...

i went to bulacan to fetch her after lunch and then diretso kami sa ghills to buy something for both of us... nakabili kami ng tigisang damit and shorts..

tapos nag grocery kami sa unimart.. then nagluto kaming dalawa with matching lambingan on the side hehehe...

hayun... dun na me nagstay sa kanila.. pahinga lang... then nung umaga na i woke up early just to prepare her breakfast.. favorite niya corned beef heheh

yun lang... Happy naman kami both... and i think we spent it romantically and memorable... heheheh

next time ill be visiting this thread again para dun sa mga suggetions niyo... ang dami palang options.. thanks to you all TSIKOTEERS!!!!...

memorable yung 2nd monthsary namin... hehheheh
