same here. pancit canton with rice/bread pero not spag with rice; parang di bagay eh.

here's something more weird... i have a friend who eats sinigang with ketchup.

yun husband ng pinsan ko italian american. pag umuuwi dito sa pinas minimiryenda nya rice and cheese (cheez whiz). substitute sa macaroni and cheese. tinikman ko ok rin

That's how I make spaghetti at home. 2 sauce parati. Red and white. Ginagawa kong parang topping yung white sauce bago yung cheese.

parang di ko ata type... spaghetti with toasted bread dapat.. hehehe.

how bout these other combinations?

- white sauced pasta with rice.
- pancit bihon with rice.
- other tomato based pasta with rice (e.g. macaronni, lasagna)

and these combinations?

- lugaw/goto with steamed rice
- tuyo or dilis na pinalaman sa pandesal o american loaf

yes i tried all of the above, in fact many italians do... ikaw ba naman araw araw pasta so one will try all the combinations! yung kanin ang ulam at toppings nila sa soup. i like the dish risotto with fettucini carbonara... special friday meal namin!

sometimes i also eat yung me tuyo na spaghetti weird pero para bang the reason is i think maiba naman lasa ng pasta...
