    Ano ang difference sa ingredients,method ng paggawa,kung kelan siya dapat inumin,nilalagyan ng yelo o hindi, pa shot shot lang o binabaso at epekto sa umiinom etc. ng:

    Brandy
    Whisky
    cognac
    rhum
    vodka
    gin
    tequila

    may nagsabi kasi sakin, meron papmpainit lang sa malamig na panahon,meron pang kondisyon at yung iba daw pang halo lang, meron din di dapat niyeyeluhan kasi sayang daw yung lasa at meron din dito pang lasingan lang talaga

    tequila gives me that chilly sensation. it's like i'm burning my brown fat so fast (at this stage, medyo nag hyperventilate ako and i sweat a lot). this is followed by chills. so i can't drink too much tequila when i'm out of the house. usually at a rented hotel room with my friends so that when i feel cold, i have the sheets to keep me warm. odd.

    tequila is best taken with salt and lemon, no ice, not even chilled.

    some others, they would just knock me down. hardest punch i got was vodka...i like vodka when it's chilled.

    but i am not a pro. umiinom lang.

    When you're drinking tequila with your friends, you should stretch out every once in a while. Don't remain seated.... I almost learned that 'kind-of-painful' lesson in another country with my counterparts from our HQ... You may be able to drink as many as you can, but you may need assistance driving back to your hotel (or worse, going back to your room)....

    It's a good thing I know how to say 'no'. And, their culture respects a person's opinion....

    hmmm very interesting thread ngayong tag lamig

    Brandy - very very good kung pure as in parang wine, amuy amoy then zip zip lang. 1 shot is equivalent to 1-2 bots of regular beer, kung local brands mga 1:1 siguro depende sa iinom.

    Whisky - ideally with ice or on the rock ika nga sayang kasi ang flavor lalo't premium brand kung ihahalo though yung iba pag ayaw ng straight, any soda will do.

    Cognac - same as brandy, sabi nga all cognacs are brandy but not all brandys are cognac

    rhum, vodka and gin for me is good for cocktails

    tequila - straight shot yan sabay sayaw para makuha full potential hehe

    drink moderately, sabi nga pang romansa espesyal :2hearts:

    Bakit may mga namamatay sa pag-inom ng tequila? Sa Singapore napakataas ng incidence niyan.

    bro, baka peke gaya ng sadiki sa ME or baka nahaluan ng mga kung ano-anong binebenta gaya ng alabang boys mahigpit na kalaban ng drugs/meds ang alcohol kaya unpredictable ang epekto pag pinagsabay.

    hehehe sabi nga ibang pasyente sa drug and alcohol overdose, para silang natataranta na di maintindihan :shocked2:

    well, basically, lahat sila e dumaan sa distillation process after fermentation to increase the alcohol content. . .nagkakaiba lang ang mga yan sa ingredient na ginamit. . .

    Brandy - grapes (basically, distilled wine). . .for me, i like to drink this straight, or pouring into a rock glass with ice just before drinking. . .and minsan pag me konting lagnat, i mix it with honey, a little lemon juice in hot water
    Whisky - rye, wheat, barley. . .andaming type nito: scotch, irish, bourbon, tennessy, canadian, japanese, etc. . .drink it on the rocks, or with soda. . .although there are some that i also enjoy drinking straight (jack daniel's, suntory's yamazaki)
    cognac - basically the same as brandy, the only difference is that those made from grapes produced in the cognac region of france are labelled as cognac, elsewhere, brandy ang tawag (parang sparkling wine, yung mga gawa sa grapes from champagne region of france are labelled as champagne, elsewhere, sparkling wine sila). . .
    rhum - sugarcane. . .sorry, tanduay lang ang nainom ko nito . . .on the rocks
    vodka - grain (distilled more than once). . .best used in long cocktails (tall glass) since wala syang lasa
    gin - white grain flavored with juniper berries (it is basically vodka without the berry flavoring). . .gin and tonic for me. . .wala pa ring tatalo
    tequila - agave plant which is abundant in mexico. . .sorry ulit, can't comment. . .maybe you can try drinking it the way we see it in the movies

    enjoy. . .but don't mix drinking and driving

    Baka nga kasi dinadagdagan pa nila ng "panundot",- kaya matindi ang tama sa kanila........

    O, baka, may worm ang tequila nila... Haven't encountered one yet... I think it's called mezcal (a tequila variety(?))....

    Napansin ko rin bastat mahal ang alak mas madali mawala ang tama, kumbaga hindi tumatagal, minsan 30 mins lang oks na lalo na sa talagang mahal..unlike yung mga mumurahin kinabukasan may hangover pa

    I drink:

    Whisky - on the rocks and/or with soda (ang pinakamahal na nainom ko ay JW Gold).
    Vodka - with tonic and ice
    Cognac/Brandy - straight
    Gin - with tonic and ice or straight then chase with ice water.
    Tequila - straight
    Rhum - with cola and ice.

    Isingit ko na rin kahit OT:

    Nung New Year, may natirang Red Wine (almost 1/4 lang nabawas) at ibinalik ko lang sa ref. yung bote. Pwede pa ba itong i-consume ulit kahit nabuksan na at ibinalik lang ng maayos yung cork?

    Mas ginusto kasi yung SM Light, kaya may natira.

    Ok ba yung Johnny Walker premiere may nakaligtaan si erpats sa sulok ng cabinet nya pinapainom sakin kaso parang luma na yung bote, nakakatakot inumin, altho sabi nila mas masarap daw pag ganon, pero yung bote parang galing sa baul ni dracula

    Alcohol poisoning. It's easy to do with tequila because it doesn't burn your throat when you drink it. I came real close to doing it myself with tequila when I drank 35 shots (yes that's not a typo) during a company Christmas party. Started drinking at 8pm and stopped at 2 am, my dad had to pick me up from the party and I vomited until 9pm the next day. I was so drunk I tried to pick up my bosses wife during the party and I don't even recall doing that. Since then I now stop at 10-15 shots if I drink it because I don't want to go through that hell again.

    totoo yun bro! meron kaming Old Parr na 1980's pa at binuksan nung 2000's na. amf tinalo pa yung mga 18 yrs super premium na alak sa sarap. Sabi ko nga sa mga bisita, "nakatikim na ba kayo ng Old Parr na 30 yrs old? eto siya! luma mga 18 yrs dyan...

    Mas maganda kasi sa red wine na i consume mo siya pag nabuksan na lalo na pag matagal mong hindi nainom nagbabago kasi lasa.
    Gusto ko rin red wine .

    May mga required temperature din ba sa pagi-store ng liquors? I have several bottles (around 30+ pcs) sa collection ko, at naka-display lang ito sa mini-bar ko sa bahay. At siyempre, di naman naka AC yung location nya. Meaning room temperature lang siya, at pag summer, medyo mainit sa atin.

    Ok lang po ba ito? Di kaya nasira na yung iba? Yung iba kasi nabili ko pa, way back 1990 pa. Baka panis na......
