    Ayoko ng sinigang sa sampalok na ang sankap na gulay eh, repolyo at patatas. There are regional cookings that do this.

    Hehehe, kaya nga, ayoko ng sinigang na ganyan ang sangkap. But, really, meron talagang ganyan, naglalagay nyan sa sinigang. Minsan cauliflower pa nga eh. Weird, no?

    Definitely, not a Luzon culinary specialty.

    Tuyong tuyo...naninikit sa lalamunan. Bawat subo ng Bihon, kailangan sabayan ng mga sampung lunok ng tubig para hindi mabilaukan.
    Tapos halos wala namang lasa.

    Kahit na sobrang mamantika siya, naninikit pa rin sa lalamunan.

    let's be thankful. regardless what kind of food we have on the table, treat it as a gift from God. even if we never tasted nor liked it before, we can not tell our stomach to stop. remember the movie "survive"? the surviving football players lived to tell the tale they ate the flesh of their comrades.

    That mentality is the reason why Pinoy food is laughed at abroad. We just accept whatever mediocre is served on the table. Sorry, but growing up with sucky Pinoy foods I will complain whenever I want.

    And the film is actually "Alive".
