KK used to have this variant that i like -- traditional cake -- since it's about the only donut that they didn't drown in sugar.

many years ago, there was this place in rustan's cubao. they cooked and prepared plain sugared donuts right there and then. people fell in line. yum!
nothing beats freshly-cooked donuts!

I love Tim Hortons but my daughter is a KK loyalist, my wife doesnt care.. so its always KK for us..(never tasted yet TH in Pinas)
