Whenever I see Americans video themselves eating chicken joy from Jollibee in the US pansin ko malaki at marami lagi ang lalagyan ng gravy. I guess they know Americans won't accept this tiny serving of gravy.

I appreciate the new ordering touchscreen of McDo you can order and pay with credit card at the touchscreen. No need to go to the counter/cashier. Marami pa yata hindi comfortable gamitin yung touchscreen kaya walang pila, sa counter pa rin pumipila mostly mga tao. 20240214_222728.jpg

i first encountered that in HK, some years ago, before covid.
after 30 minutes of unsuccessfully ordering,
i walked over to the human behind the counter and made my order and handed over my cash.

    "it's a generation thing."
to the now generation, it's common knowledge.

Even my senior in laws and parents. Mostly sa mga anak pinagagawa yung mga bagay sa smartphone nila. In contrast, give a toddler an iPad and they have an instinct on what and how to do anything.

Yung niece ko kino control ng brother ko yung pag gamit ng tablet kasi baka kung ano ano nga mabrowse.

Hindi pa marunong magbasa at magsulat so nagulat na lang sila marunong mag voice command. Sabi daw "Peppa Pig" and there she got to watch her favorite show on her own.

i tried today, mcdo's Lenten special.
fish fillet burger + regular fries + large coke zero.
168 bucks, after old age discount.
ok naman, as i was hungry.
but i feel, it was not as satisfying as the regular bigaa mac (because it's mammalian meat?).

next time, i'll try the competition.

I'm surprised that a lot of pinoys still follow no meat Fridays. Ever since I was young, we only so Maundy Thursday and Good Friday lang. So my friends and I will avail of the 50% off promo sa Texas Roadhouse and told them to move their no meat Friday on a Thursday na.

pa-liitin na nila, huwag lang pa-pangitin ang lasa.
we can always buy more, but we should not re-cook it.

but increasing the price and preserving everything else, also works for me.

    looking back,
as i was growing, i now can't decide if it was shrinking, or my appetite was growing...

Jollibee Group?s Chickenjoy trademark declared a 'well-known mark' by the Philippine IPO | Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines — The Jollibee Group continues to strengthen its intellectual property portfolio after three of its most iconic brand assets—the Jollibee Mascot, the Jollibee Stacked Logo, and Chickenjoy—were officially declared Well-Known Marks (WKM) by the Philippine Intellectual Property Office (IPOPHL) under its administrative process for the Declaration and Creation of the Register of Well-Known Marks.
