Ang lakas kasi mag kape nung kasambahay nila parang 8x a day daw.

    BTT

Eto masarap din pasalubong sakin from SG

    it's malaysian.
it comes in several varieties of strength, etc.
    "it's ok" for me.
but i still prefer the competing "old town" brand, also malaysian.

among the locals, my favorite is kopiko black.

    hindi po.
it's 3-in-1. when added to hot water, it's not really ink-black in color. darker than classic lang.

    hassle ang coffee brewing.
kailangan ng machine, filter, kuryente, at expensive coffee beans.
less than 10 bucks ang isang sachet ng 3 in 1. and the convenience store provides the hot water, cup and stirrer.

i'd prefer the brewed coffee, if it were ready and available.

dati kasi... nung Assitant level ako, I used a coffee press

Since "instant coffee" ang topic... We normally get this kapag may byahe sa province.

The market dictates it somehow. Hindi mo ma expect this kind of market na mag french press and espresso machine. Kahit yung traditional way of preparing kapeng barako mas madali pa rin I think.

Naisip ko din yan nung una...

Kaso if you go to Indonesia, Singapore, HK, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar. Lahat sila naka brewed coffee.
Yung kainan sa kanto kanto naka-brewed coffee. - Mas mayaman naman ang Pilipinas compared to Vietnam and Myanmar.

Di naman mahal, Singapore na ata pinaka-mahal na "hawkers" coffee at S$80 cents/cup (*34.5 = less than 30pesos)

One of the biggest coffee chains sa Vietnam (Highlands Coffee) is actually owned by Jollibee!
