    ^Depends din. In vacation hot spots (Baguio, Boracay) may mga bukas na stores/malls/restos kahit Good Friday. Hindi na tulad dati na talagang shut down lahat pwera ang hotels and hospitals.

    Pag Holy Thursday bukas pa yung Waltermart sa Pampanga. Pati yung mga Mc Do na 24 hours, open pag Good Friday.

    Speaking of holy week, we'll be staying in Metro Manila this holy weekend. Ano ba mapasyalan sa mga araw na yun? Checked the malls, mukhang sarado lahat.

    Anong day? Holy Thursday and Good Friday is a good time go around some parts of Manila if you ask me. On Holy Thursday, if i'm at Manila i take this time to drive around Manila and visit the churches in Binondo and reach all the way to Paranaque/Las Pinas Church, go around Intramuros, etc. After that we usually eat at Aristocrat along Roxas Blvd. Sometimes we also check into a good hotel and just lounge around (swimming, kain sa restos/buffet, etc.).

    By Black Saturday, open na yung malls.

    ADD: if your kids enjoy playing at the park, take them to the parks beside Boni High Street pag late afternoon or early evening.

    Not into churches e. Thu-Sat kami nasa manila. Stay kami sa hotel. mukhang hotel lang kami May activity kasi yung panganay ko every morning of those days.

    But what i enjoy the most before was taking my dad or grandparents around in traffic free Manila so they could reminisce and tell us stories of their lives before i came along (and ruined everything... hehehehe).

    If IHOP is open on Holy Week, it might be a good time to drop by for breakfast then. Malamang nasa Bora lahat ng mga ka-SC. :D

    If you're craving for good pancakes, I would recommend Maple. It's not so far from IHOP naman.

    The price is about the same as IHOP but the servings are huge and the pancakes are really good. Plus you don't have to deal with crowds. I'd suggest going on non-peak hours as the place is quite small.

    Maple's pancakes are at the P300 range but the servings are much larger than IHOP's and it's really good.
