....marami naman talagang dirty practices yang mga fast food chain. buti na lang matibay sikmura ng mga pinoy.

Bakit nila-layer pa yung ice? I worked sa McDo, Jollibee, and KFC before pero wala namang nila-layer na ice sa freezer. Sa McDo 1 month lang ako dahil ayaw ko nung mga mukha ng cashier nila.... sa Jollibee, 6 months ako pero na force resignation ako dahil hindi ko tinuro yung taong gusto nilang ituro ko (long story). Had a girlfriend na cashier and lagi kong pinakakain lahat mga kabaranggay ko don..... ibibigay lahat nung GF ko yung laman nung warmer (forgot the term where they store their food) tapos regular coke lang lagi bayad ko, hehehe. Minsan nag-outing kaming lahat and pulos Jollibee foods ang baon namin..... sarap din kasing may 'kaibigang' stockman..... limas ang stock room, hehehe. Sa KFC naman, may nuggets kami lagi galing sa breast..... bale pinipingasan namin yung breast tapos ima-marinade din namin... yun na bale lunch or dinner namin. Maraming storyang kasuka-suka sa food chain pero wala namang nalulutong daga o naii-serve na spoiled foods, etc. Multi-million peso kasing demandahan yan and no manager in his/her right mind would allow those horrible stories to happen.

layering of ice is the correct practice to preserve food especially poultry. para even ung lamig, kc kung hindi masisira ung mga nasa gitna ng freezer.

Nililinaw lang po.... sino nagla-layer ng ice? Freezer kasi namin dati hindi na nila-layer yung ice para pantay yung lamig. Kada storage area may sarili nang temp control. Nag-stockman din kasi ako sa Jollibee and hindi nabanggit sa akin yan as part of my job description. Naging pantry, fryer, busboy at cashier din ako.... Naku, baka ako yung naka-tokang stockman nung nangyari yan, ehehehe Hala!!!

meron pa din Shakey's... in fact I prefer their pizza over pizza hut. Downside, Shakey's doesn't have as many branches as pizza hut.
