Apparently, that sudden death only has 105,000 scoville units..

There's still Blair's mega death which has 550,000 scoville units and Blair's ultra death which has 800,000 scoville units..

The spiciest is Blair's 16M reserve which has 16,000,000 scoville units.

I used to make 1 kilo siling labuyo i-blender with garlic tapos igigisa mo siya sa sibuyas at 200ml bottle bagoong. kelangan mo ng mask at eye protector pag ginisa mo ito haha.

    dali! it's fun!

Had fresh thai chillis a few months ago and those were 7/10 spicy.

Found some dried thai chillies and made chilli oil with chinese peppercorns. I think i made a mistake. 8.5/10 spicyness plus that burning feeling.

I usually don't like spicy food. it burns in my tounge at nabubusog kagad ako kakainom ng tubig.

although there is this couple of months that spicy food doesn't burn my tounge. i don't know what happened, I started eating with siling labuyo sa sawsawan. ang sarap. i can taste the spiciness but it doesn't burn. but it only lasted for months, then spicy food starts burning my tounge again.

I don't know what happened but I want to get that tounge back.

Normally our sawsawan is vinegar based.
The acidity somewhat calms the spiciness. You can try labuyo but remove the seeds. And add some vinegar or patis or toyo. The part of the labuyo next to the stem is more potent. Try the point half lng. Sliced thinly. Vitamin Spice is good

A colleague once demonstrated to us how to avoid being burned by stuff dipped in sili in vinegar, all you had to do is to not let the stuff touch your lips. I never tried it.

Hanggang Jalapeno level lang kaya ko...same goes for any other spice i guess, in moderation lang.

What's the point of making food so spicy that your tongue goes numb? Kainin na lang yung sili/spices straight, so the taste of the meat doesn't interfere ^_^

Different strokes for differing folks. Thais have higher tolerance than say bicolanos. I do eat milk seranos with no problem. Sometimes labuyo with bbq hehehe.

Sanayan lang. Dati mahina din ako sa anghang. Pero now, kaya ko nang i-chew ang chopped siling labuyo. Napasama kasi sa grupo na mga mahilig sa maanghang.

sir benchman, i offer no warranties: somebody mentioned Assad Mini Mart. Main biz seems to be selling spices and ingredients, but i think they also have a deli type resto:

    Assad Mini Mart

Not a fan of Indian cooking, but i'm curious.

thanks for the linkie bro, i also need other source of ingredients/spices. sa farmer's market lang kasi ako bumibili pero minsan may kulang din sila. looks like they have it all
will try their food too. if they have the spices, probably they know how to cook.
