which chicken egg to eat?

i remember before may visitor kami na european sa office na di daw sya kumakain ng egg unless it's a free-range egg. what the hell does he mean?

also i notice na dito sa tin ang mga chicken eggs na nabibili ay white ang shells. but in other countries ay medyo reddish sya or brownish.

ano bang pinaka-OK na chicken egg sa katawan ng tao?

sir mantoy ang alam ko pag white-leghorn ang manok eh puti ang egg... yan yung common

yung brownish if ever nakakita ka ng mga local or domestic na chicken, maliliit ito at brownish ang kulay

some says na mas masarap itong brown hehe mas masustansya din daw...

ang alam ko pag sinabi mo na free-range ang hayop hindi ito nakakulong hence self-supporting or semi self-supporting :confused: ... so ibig sabihin out na kaagad ang galing sa mga big poultry farms.

masarap talaga yung 'native chicken eggs'. i prefer them over the common 'white egg'. madalang nga lang dito sa manila, that's why pag umuuwi kami ng province yun ang unang-una kong binibili. :-)

afaik pag brown ung egg, galing yan sa "native" chicken. i think free-range chickens loosely fall into this category.

ung white ang shell e galing sa commercially bred chickens. i think me effect ung feeds at breed ng chicken dun.

mas masustansya ung brown egg(the theory is that organic is better), although mas mahal -- something like 6-7 per egg. lots of people would also say mas malasa ung native -- both the chicken and the egg

yup, native nga yung brownish...maliit pero mas masarap. kumain na ko nito straight from the shell di sya ganun kalansa.

Sa HK puros yung brownish na egg, mas masarap sya and the yolk is much oranger... I love eggs hehe, kahit anong luto kakainin ko yan!!!

pgkakaalam ko the yellowness of the yolk depends on the feeds -- i.e. yellow corn
