sino naka-tikim na ng aso sa inyo?
ano nga ba lasa at putahe?
last na nakain ko decades ago at yung last eh lasang galis pa rin kasi kinilaw lang.
walang mangangatay ng aso sa atin ah. yung mga nakatikim lang.

bata pa ko nun grade school pa lang. erpats ko saka barkada nya e mga fans ng toyota at crispa kaya pag may laban sina jaworski at fernandez e sure may aw-aw na pulutan. pero di sila kumakatay ng aso na pet ng family, dumadayo sila para bumili. except for one, yung aso ko na 4 months old lang nasagasaan ng tricycle. sayang daw e, isang kaldero din hahaha. pag uwi ko hinahanap ko aso ko nakita ko si erpats saka bespren nya may 1/2 case ng beer, sabay sabi sa akin ano nangyari. di ako kumain nun, pet ko e.
sweet and sour favorite ko, followed by kaldereta. ok din ang kilawin pero iba kasi gumawa ng kilawin sila erpats kesa dun sa ibang natikman ko na kilawin (na lasang galis hahaha). inaahit kasi ng husto yung balahibo with hot water bago iniihaw sa charcoal ng konti. yung iba kasi tamad mag-ahit so diretso sunog lang ng blowtorch.

Ako rin,- a couple of decades ago,- minsan pulutan ng tropa,- kaldereta...
Tapos, last ay a decade ago siguro,- parang adobado...- parang mahirap ko nang kainin,- kahiya lang dahil nandoon ang tropa at sarap na sarap sila....
About 4 years ago,- niyaya ako ng locals (nasa Taiwan ako), na umakyat sa isang village nila sa bundok para kumain ng aso,- hindi natuloy- salamat...

I have tried it in several ways. In Trinidad, they take the whole dog and cook 3 dishes out of it:
A. Spare - soup based with chunks of meat on bone.
B. Ulo - as the name implies, it is the head of the dog split open lengthwise. You can scoop the brain out.
C. Pinuneg - blood sausage made through coagulated blood stuffed into the dog's intestines.
D. I've also tried kaldereta and kilawin which are more common ways of cooking it in the Philippines.
I also ate it as a tomato-based stew in the remote highlands of Papua New Guinea and in Korea as a soy-based stew and in China, as a stir fry and in Vietnam as somewhat roasted.
Whenever I eat dog meat, I can feel my body temperature go up which is why I think it is a popular dish for colder regions. I'm not really a fan of it but I will always try any dish once and I always try to eat what the locals eat.

may mga barkada kasi akong astig, pag may pumasok na aso sa bakuran nila tinitira tapos inuman na
madalas adobo ginagawa masarap din sila mag luto

One time aksidente pa.
Sa Libya pa ko nun, galing akong OT late na umuwi nangapit kwarto ko ng ulam kasi tamad na ako mag luto, binigyan ako isang plato, ng tinikman ko iba texture nung karne kambing daw. Isang subo lang di ko inubos.

Haha, reminds me of our irish parish priest in zambales. Picnic ang parish council pinakain nila ng aw-aw sabi sa kanya kambing. Sarap ng kain nya, "sarap kambing" pa nga sinabi nya. Tapos sinabi nila erpats na aso yun, "sarap aw-aw" na sinabi kasunod. Game naman siya, but they could never get him drunk no matter how many beers and whiskey he took. Laking tao kasi. Last i heard he was retired already, living at the priests retirement compound in zambales.

ano kaya kung german sheperd o doberman?

ako nakatikim nung bago pa ako sa davao city. hindi ko inexpect kasi mga sosyal o "hijos de davao" mga kasama ko nun. gulat ako kasi puro purong tanduay drinkers na walang halo ang mga tinitira nila. inadobo ang hinain nila noong gabing iyon.
don't remember much kasi masaya naman at beachside pa kaya go na lang ng go. baka ma-salvage pa ko kung tumanggi ako eh
