Trinoma High-End Restos Exodus?

I noticed around four restaurants have abandoned Trinoma in a span of six-months. First to leave was Madison Grill. Then the Japanese Restaurant Haiku. And just lately Bubba Gump and Ruby Tuesday. Ruby Tuesday didn't even survive a year. Sign of the times or just the wrong location/market?

Wrong market more than anything. People who would be inclined to go to such expensive restaurants would be heading to places like Boni High Street and Serendra.

Trinoma would suite mid-range to fastfood restaurants better.

Well for Ruby Tuesday's case its just bad business... Ang mahal sobra, while the burgers are good they still don't justify the price... Sayang yung Haiku. Ang Japanese resto na lang sa Trinoma yung Oki-Oki (nasa ground level) and Teriyaki Boy both more casual...

Ang Trinoma naman kasi same crowd ng mga SM malls.

lugi yan. restaurants have high overheads. dapat mataas ang traffic mo para makabawi. but considering the things today, people would just opt to eat at a kiosk or not eat anything when going to the mall.

I agree mali lang ang location nila...bakit naman yun bubba gump sa GB3 buhay pa rin...

think its wrong target market, like what sir Gh said. the market of edsa north area is not the same as the makati crowd. they should have made a menu with lower prices to attract the immediate general population/market there.

Isa pa yang problema... Madaming resto sa Trinoma...

I think Trinoma has a diverse crowd naman. In fact they are easy to segregate. Yung masa nasa ground floor and 2nd floor. Mga mayayaman madalas nasa 3rd and 4th floors... Pansin nyo pati mga restos sa 1st and 2nd floors mas pang masa compared sa restos on the 3rd and 4th floor...

iba ang crowd na pumupunta sa trinoma compare sa GH(promenade), Makati, Serendra/High St.

iba ang crown ng GB3 sa Trinoma. GB3 is high-end. Trinoma is middle to middle low.

IMO, the restaurants mentioned (Haiku, Madison Grill & Bubba Gump), aren't exactly high-end. Medyo pricey lang ang food, but it won't burn your wallet.

For me, it's the menu/food. Halos pareho lang naman ang price points ng Italianni's, TGIF & Bubba Gump, pero buhay pa rin yung dalawa. I've eaten at all restos, and mas marami ang servings at mas masarap ang food nung 2 kesa Bubba Gump.

P.S. Hindi naman jologs ang crowd sa Trinoma ah. It's one (or a few) notches higher than the SM crowd. Nandun ako almost every night, kasi dun ko hinihintay si misis pag pauwi na kami.

ayon sa mom ko.. ang problem kasi sa trinoma is the trinoma itself.. ang operating hours ng mall ay 10-9 or 10-10 lang diba?

so most of the "high-end" resturant consumers, most of them ay 9pm na nagsisimula pumunta sa mga resto.. e ang walkway sa parking ng trinoma is dapat dumaan ka sa loob ng mall, no other way. pano ka pa mag-sstay beyond 12mn.. at lasing ka pa sa beer..

isa pang problema sa Trinoma? yung crowd na dapat nasa SM North Edsa nagpupuntahan din sa Trinoma.
