    I do drink wine whenever there is and also brandy but in lesser scale at depende kung malamig ang panahon.

    When it comes to local brandy, what would you choose if “imported” is not available?

    Local? For me it's Gran Matador (Granma) or Generoso (Genius).

    Tama ka dun. Kaya 2nd choice ko lang talaga ang granma, ngayon ala dennis trillo ako, "Generoso, Generoso". Pero pag walang Genius, balik ako sa loving arms ni Granma.

    nagtataka lang ako, while the best and the most famous brandy brands are from france, bakit dito sa pinas e spanish ang dating ng mga pangalan?

    Dahil mas sosyal. Eh kung gagawa ka ng sarili mong brand of brandy at tatawagin mong TATANG KIKO o kaya LOLO BASIONG eh tatawanan ka ng mga tao. Duhhhh! Hindi ka makakabenta niyan.

    Maybe it's because the most famous brandy para sa mga tomador dito is tumbador este Fundador. Trying to ride on its popularity, thus making their products Spanish sounding.

    for advertising purposes siguro.. kasi mahirap bigkasin ang name ng brandy kung french words ang gagamitin...

    sa baryo namin kasi mga bata ang inuutusan bumili, kung french name ang brand baka inde mabigkas at kung ano pa ang mabili...
