In addition, I have a friend who is such a connoisseur, so I asked her the top 5 restos in the city, and here is her list.

    1. Elberts - HV dela Costa Makati
    2. Peppermill - inside Corinthian Gardens
    3. Lemuria - Horseshoe Drive
    4. Red - Shangrila

    i agree with vito...

ALING LUCING'S: best sisig; talo ang gerry's or dencio's

SUSIE'S: best palabok; i would still drive to angeles just to have a snack there; aside from palabok, they have the best pampango delicacies

in addition, here are the other "bests" for me:

    VIA MARE: best sago't gulaman

FELY J's: best filipino cuisine; kasama na ang dessert na saging na lumpia with ube sauce

CHOCOLATE KISS (UP DILIMAN): best chocolate cake; sabi ng iba sa ristorante pia y damaso masarap din pero i havent tried

    THREE SISTERS: best pancit bihon

Well, given you posted your 1st post had this:

heres my top 5 MUST EAT IN the PHilippines
It assumes that those five listed restaurants must be good. But I beg to differ on your opinion on at least one of your choices.

heres my top 5 MUST EAT IN the PHilippines ..... hmmmmm

    1. Mien San Noodle House- BEST taiwanese Cuisine -- not into these kind of food.
    2. Aysees- BEST SISIG. Trellis sa QC.
    3. Lola Idangs- BEST PALABOK! Puwede na. But doesn't Lola Idangs serve Pancit Malabon and not Pancit Palabok (yung malalaki noodles di ba pancit malabon?) Best Pancit Malabon would be the old Pancit ng Taga Malabon restaurant.
    4. Crave Burger- BEST BURGER! NOT!--- walang ka duda duda 100%....Manny O's Wagyu Burger (at 1,500 per burger what do you expect?). Where to get it? Cebu Mactan's Hilton.
    5. Anne's- BEST TAPSILOG!!! Any tapsilog. Puwedeng puwede.
