had you read the link that you yourself posted,
you would have gleaned that the noodle in question was manufactured in thailand.

it is still unsure if the locally manufactured noodles of the same brand are similarly affected.

    so much for tunnel vision.

    doc,

    Oo nabasa ko.

ang tanong.... meron lucky me din sa pinas. Ano pinagkaiba nyan?

for your information last time ako kumain canton year 2004 or...basta sobrang tagal na. Pero instant cup sotanghon kumain ako last year napakain kasi sotanghon noodles less preservative. But hindi na naulit kasi the seasoning powder ang hirap intindihin ingredients.

    are you kidding!
    every astute investigator knows,
even as they share identical product name, the origin of manufacture DOES MATTER.
there are differences, intentional or un-intentional.

doc you are in the medical community.

why on earth bigla ko iniwasan kumain pancit canton 20years or more na ata???

what preservatives neeeded to preserve dry noodols to make it last lalo na ito wheat noodols to prevent fungi.

    Haaay haaaay medical community.

    # high levels of pesticide tsk tsk tsk.

Kahit nga korean instant noodols hindi pa ako nakakain as in ahyaw ko.

my choice of noodols = potato starch sotanghon and sweet potato na glass noodols.

we'll just go on with our lives, and let the waters push you where they may.

... aren't you taking a big gambol on those glass noodles, potatoes and sweet potatoes?
they are made from plants... plants that are fertilized...
shouldn't you do pesticide levels testing on them?

I RARELY eat instant noodles. I tried the korean noodles but that's it. I look for instant pansit canton maybe once a year? It's one of the few sinful food that I am not addicted to. Ang hindi ko talaga kaya ma control yung sweets.

sweet potato is a rootcrop na pwede plant & forget. Thats why i like eating japchae. But im careful sa ginamit na sesame oil kasi majority is dilluted with soybean oil.

white potato, rice noodles meron pesticide but wheat talaga ang grabe delikadengdeng.

Kita mo doc gaano ako kabusi-busi.

What a coincidence. I'm making japchae today, and yeah, I like it because it's sweet potato

where did you get the idea that no farmer fertilizes his camote crop?
... that noodle manufacturers source their camotes from farmers who do not use fertilizer?

This year lang ako nag-try nyang pansit canton.
Nag-try naman maiba sa usual na rice and egg or coffee and bread sa almusal.
I tried almost every brand and flavor, and so far mas madalas nga na Payless ang nabibili ko.
Yung extra big para di bitin.

    doc,

ang rebuttal ko eh im not eating instant pancit canton for more than 20years na. Im just way way ahead.

the process to make it last sa ganyan katagal na expiry date nakakatakot. Mas may tiwala pa ako sa UHT milk

I think chicken & canton reason kung ano sakit ng mga pinoy.
