it causes disease in swine. people appear to be un-affected.
people can transmit the virus thru their un-healthy practices.
but can humans transmit the disease to other swine, if they eat infested pork? i do not know.

our current concerns about it, is that it might lay waste to the local swine industry, if it is not contained and eradicated early enough.

pag may tatak ng meat inspection ata ok naman daw eh

so I think be wary of those meats/lechons sold by backyard hog raisers, kasi kumbaga sa FDA hinde dumadaan sa inspection and regulation

dami chicharon ngaun, unlimited sangyupsal, lechon pork belly / porchetto, cebu lechon coming from FB pages na walang brick mortar store. who knows where the meats are coming from? eh syempre, pag may party Malay mo host dun umorder sa mga ganun para makatipid

and yes tama ka, be wary of those longganisas, tocinos, na walang tatak, kasi lately ata may ni-raid sa Tondo, two floors down ata sa squatter area, gumagawa ng longganisa

given this complicated world that we're living in now, suddenly mapapaisip ka bakit P499 lang Sangyupsal, tapos minsan may promo pa minsan 299, unlimited pork,

Saw it in the news last night Doc, DOH officials and all happily eating cooked swine and I just had a ham sandwich for breakfast too.

Pinoys will always eat pork, it's one of our go to foods for everything.

i think they're advertising that local pork is still safe.
