Mango Biscoff. It's Mango Graham but instead of Graham crackers, I used Biscoff.

today, i am cooking ham hocks with fermented black beans and frying grey pompano fish for dinner.
Palpak na pork steak lol. I meant to cook it as sinigang, pero tinamad na ako lumabas para bumili ng mga gulay. And i had butter and soy sauce and garlic at bay... haha

I bought pang inihaw na baboy yesterday. Marinated it in soy sauce, salt and pepper, garlic and catsup. I'll grill it tomorrow I hope 2 days is enough for it to absorb the flavor.

I ditch the catsup everytime nag iihaw ako ng liempo.

You can try this marinade instead, calamansi, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and 7up. This is what i learned from the locals in Baler and Siargao.

^ for pork and chicken, i marinate with toyo, suka, bawang/sibuyas/paminta at konting asukal. ilagay sa fridge at ibabad overnight then grill. dapat balanse ang alat ng toyo at asim ng suka. for beef naman, salt and pepper lang then grill...

For me Pag may sibuyas pare mas mabilis mag expire. Hindi rin ok may suka. Hindi yata maganda pang marinate yan. Stick with toyo, maraming bawang, pepper, yes asukal, and soda. Then again kanya kanyang preference.

Yung catsup, pag gagawin mo na sauce yung pinag marinade mo.

hindi naman, i have marinated meat with onions and sometimes nagtatagal sa fridge, wala naman problema. like the garlic, i like the taste of burnt onion too. bakit naman hindi pwede ang suka? its an acid kaya it helps in tenderizing the meat. i even prefer suka than lemon, mapait minsan kapag naihaw yung buto ng lemon. you can try it so you will know. soda i don't like. yes, kanya kanyang preference.
