Partly genetics bro. My mom has it and I had an attack once on my right big toe in 2011. I am careful now with what I am eating but it is really hard to resist food ****! I feel pain once in a while on the same foot but without the swelling. I walk it off and it feels better but the pain jolts if I stay stationary for awhile.

i thought my friend ate fertilizer; he has two toe-like thing that grew on his right and left foot. he just turned 58. i joked him that it would be great if it grew in his somewhere rather on his feet, but he said that would be of no use to him as it'd be a little bit too late.

Lol sis. There are guys in their 20s who suffered from gout already. But I am not saying that I am in my 20s either.

I think that is call bone spurs caused by osteoarthritis bro. That is quite painful and causes permanent deformities.
