Is Bob's Bacolod or Iloilo? I'm not sure if they still have a branch at Maga.

    Bob's is quintessential Bacolod.

Their branch in Maga transferred to the back of HSBC Enterprise and then ngayon closed na daw! But I think the branch in Pasig is still open.

Cab Café in Kapitolyo - Tales From The Tummy

Katabi ng Charlies. Primo, can you attest if its still open nga?

Yeah, closed na nga yung branch at Makati. It just did not seem to attract customers at it's location

Grabe talaga yang Mang Inasal na yan, kahit saan dinudumog ng tao. A few years from now, halos lahat na kumakain dyan may alta-presyon na.

Too much rice + too much chicken oil + kapirasong sunog na manok, loaded ng kung ano-ano = trouble

Mang Inasal is like an insult to Inasal My first taste of inasal was authentic since it was my friend from Bacolod who had me try it. I really loved it especially the orange liquid. I pour a lot of my rice and chicken. I did not know it was chicken OIL I thought it was just atsuete oil (I thought healthy pa like olive oil ) We used to go to this Inasal resto din at Megamall near Sukhothai ata. We'd order chicken skin din.

I wwas really disappointed when I got to try Mang Inasal. Are they even supposed to call in Inasal? It tastes nothing like Inasal. It's like fried chicken lang. Even the oil had no taste e.

I don't eat at chowking too (except for siopao and siomai)! My friends know that it's not among our fastfood options. I got traumatised kasi with their orange chicken. The sauce tasted like melted shaldan Chowking used to be good. I used to order their halo halo for delivery all the time. Pumangit when it got bought by Jollibee.

Parang yung Amici pumangit nung naging commercial

BTT: Serenitea Slush and Cha time chicken chops. Nagutom ako

I'd consider Chowking over Mang Inasal. I'd also consider Jolli-jeep over Mang Inasal.

    Re: Amber

There was a time when the "patok" delivery for those kinds of office party food was Aling Nene (along SSHWAY/Vito Cruz). I'm sure yung mga gurang dito sa tsikot will remember that. Then Aling Nene faded into the limelight. They encountered bad food issues, and Amber stole the show.

    BTT:

Dinner is home cooked Paella ...
