I just had a major fight with my Mom today. She practically told me that I shouldn't be having children anymore because of my age and I will probably have an abnormal child. This is so unbelievable! Instead of encouraging her own daughter this is what she does. I told her I have friends who had their first child in their late 30s (in fact meron isa magpapa binyag and another first bday) Then goes on telling me, very few single men my age so I told her, "fine, kabit na lang ako" *awkward silence* That shut my Mom up

Seriously, men your age are either married already or single but looking to date ladies in their 20s. It is best for women to have babies in their 20s as having your first child in your 30s (or near 40) is high risk to both the mother and child.

If you do find the lucky guy that does show interest, they are looking for long term company and not necessarily the need to have children.

I have a lot of friends who married in their 30s. I can name at least 10 and had their first child in their 30s. Anyway, I know that's what a lot of people will say, na I am too old to get pregnant and men want women in their 20s etc but I'm not expecting it from my own mother. Kaya sinabi ko I will be kabit na lang. Haha.

Nakakaiyak lang na I can't even get encouragement from my own Mom. But what do I expect, she told me herself that a woman's looks is important so I better lose weight and keep myself attractive. My Mom isn't the type na blinded by love sa anak niya. She tells things as it is.
