Actually Sheppard AFB is in Texas near the Dallas-Forth Worth area. I paid a visit there back in the late 80's. Went to a free ZZ Top concert for the airmen.

Oh. 10 years ago, I was living at the house I'm in now. He He. But, I was still adjusting to work as a civilian after retiring from the AF.

Oh. Enjoy every minute of your AF career. Years from now when you are older like me, you'll look back at it with fondness. Lots of memories.

Wala pang 1 year nag work, ang liit ng sweldo pero feeling ko ang yaman ko.

Wala pa gaano isipin, happy go lucky pa to add up lahat kami sa tropa single pa kaya puro layas ang alam.

Ang bilis ng panahon, 10 years na ako sa work ko.

Some other stuff 10 years ago:

I finally got out of beige-colored computers.

I was still using CRT monitors. A year later I switched to an LCD monitor. Now? I just use a 1080p TV.

We still had just one kid and thought that was it. We were done.

We were using Direct TV (satellite) instead of cable like what we have now.

Oh wait. This isn't a then and now thing. Oh well. My bad. He He.

This week 10 years ago.... I was staying at the Haneda Excel Hotel.

Needless to say, the soundproofing was very good.

Nice toilets too. State of the art back in 2006.
