Pag signal no. 2 walang pasok.

When eating out, you just say what you want to eat then sit and wait for your food. Not worrying how much it costs.

As a teenager, I miss eating my fill and not getting fat. Problema lang nuon ay gusto mong kumain nang kumain pero wala ka namang pambili. Ngayon, marami kang pambili ng pagkain pero bawal namang kumain nang kumain.

But would I want to go back to being a child? No.

21-22 for me. I had no problems then.

I had money (salary just spent on clothes and gimmick etc)

I did not worry about my family's health (now they are all seniors and I live in fear worrying about them)

I did not worry about relationships (I dated a lot and I was not pressured to get married and have children unlike now)

I had all my friends (now they are mostly abroad or married so I rarely see them)

I was young and healthy (I could go out until 2 or 3 am and be at work by 8 am)

It's my mom's. I think it was finished in 1976 or 1977. I didn't move there until the latter. The piano, stereo system, and furniture date back from the early 70's. The Japanese dolls date back from the 1960's and came from Japan (where I was born). I think one of my older relatives still had an older house like your photo except the ground floor under the house was dirt and the main floor was made from bamboo strips. It was still occupied when I left in the early 80's. I'm not sure about now though.

The only older house I remember living in is here in the US. It was built in the 1950's. It's still being rented out.

iyon ancestral house ng nanay ko, it's an all wood 2 storey 5 bedroom +1 storage room house, it's not that posh yet it brought a lot of great memories amongst us 6 siblings during our childhood. it's a haven for hide and seek.
come rainy/typhoon season, idk but how i felt the warmth, comfort and secured in that house. watching everything what's happening by the window with the rain and flood outside was such nice a pastime. tatakas pa minsan para makapaglaro sa baha.
sad it was sold and brought to the ground after we moved. and so strange i can't find any photos of the house yet my memory kept a lot of it still.
plus the pig pen and chickens at the back yard nga pala, how i missed my lolo and lola too.

That means giant spoon and fork, right? You mean the big wooden ones? Yeah. My uncle has a set on his kitchen wall.

I don't have the giant fork and spoon. But, I have this is my den.
