Walang iniisip na bayarin
Makipaglaro maghapon sa mga pinsan
Maglaro ng family computer (Contra, Mario, F1 race, Double dribble, etc.)
How about Dumaguete or Cebu? Hindi ka naman umaabot to those parts? :D
Hmmm... looking back, i try to figure whom would i have possibly married na HS or college friend. I can think of two possibilities. Thankfully, looking at them on FB now, they're doing a-okay and still look good![]()
:naughty2:

I spent my childhood at many places because I was a military brat.
I loved the frequent travels and moves (every 2-4 years). I have no memories of Japan as a child (too young). I have memories of here and of course, the PH.
I recall riding my bicycle around in the rural areas of Nevada, fishing and picking up asparagus along the irrigation canals. Picnics and fishing at Lake Lahontan.
I often skipped recess and lunch in elementary school because I wanted to spend those times reading several decades worth of National Geographics magazine.
I loved it when I started to get the attention of my female classmates. It was about to get interesting when my mom cut it short. She said we're moving to the PH. I was like, No way! I don't want to! But, what's a kid to do? No choice.
At the PH..........
I learned some Tagalog. A lot of them were body parts.
One Filipina kid (a couple of years older than me) asked me if I knew how to play with fire. Too bad I didn't know what that meant at the time. If I stayed a little longer in Nevada, I would've known. He He.
Staying with my cousins at Cavite while my parents were away, having a house built in Pamplona, Las Pinas.
I also got to know my aunts quite well. I remember one time taking a very short bath (pail and tabo) without soaping (no hot water). Later, one of my aunts came and asked if I took a shower. I said yes. Then she grabbed me up close and smelled my hair. She asked how come she couldn't smell the soap. She them proceeded to scold me and sent me back to take another bath.
Afterwards, I was in my teens. I don't really consider those years as my childhood anymore.

The part where you can just play, eat, piss, poop, sleep, eat again, sleep again. All your stress are only coming from your playmates and from your toys, and sometimes on not wanting to eat that broccoli. Not from your work or your business.
I remember me and other rural kids taking turns getting inside one of these while the rest of the kids rolled the cable spool down the road. Then, we'd get out and try to walk like we're drunk.
