    That too.

Makes me cringe when my officemates call their BFS Jowa, and I once heard the term BOWA. hahaha!

My officemate also says "bet mo" Sometimes it's hard for us to converse because I don't understand a lot of her terms and I have to ask her what she means.

Medyo nawawala professionalism pag slang mga salita sa workplace.

Ako sinasabi ko nalang minsan wag mag german hehehe
Tapos politely ask them what it means, para di malito pag nagkwento sila.

i keep reminding my younger colleagues in the workplace, to speak straight english and avoid "shortcuts".
    to no avail.

I wonder what your officemates like talking about lol. I like talking with people but when they start spewing out these kind of words, my head hurts. Quite a turn off when a new girl joins the company then starts talking like that. All prejudice of her charmingly good looks have been thrown out the window

i would have liked to throw their bodies out the window, as well.
maybe we should conduct the interviews using straight english, and deduct a point every time interviewee uses an in-appropriate word or phrase.
    heh heh.

I have only 1 girl friend in the office. I rarely talk with the rest but this one officemate who also likes to use "friend", "bet mo", "gurl", "gorabels" etc is okay when I talk to her. We just can't have a long conversation without me having to ask some of the terms that she uses. It also makes me cringe when she calls her long time BF "jowa".

when she says bet ko or bet mo it means, "like". I don't know how the word evolved though.

eg: Cathy bet ko yan dress mo

Ouch naman yung sa prepaid. Some people just find prepaid more practical based on their phone usage. Even the lowest-cost postpaid plan is still a waste of good money if all one does is text and call a couple of times per week.

I agree with the constantly changing phone number. That's not just a turn off. It's plain annoying.

Regarding the network... Which is less of a turn off then, Smart or Globe?

Not all naman. We have an officemate kasi 27 na naka prepaid pa tapos parating walang load. Nakakainis kasama kasi pang reply sa text wala rin. Turn off kami lahat boys and girls sa kanya. Virgin pa rin until now tuloy. Hahaha.

Globe or Smart both okay But majority of my friends and family are Globe.

yeah. not all prepaid phone users are unstable. some people who are only in the country for a few days only need prepaid service. some people only need the number a few times of usage and dump that number (stealth).

Turn off din ako sa officemate ko, naka latest iPhone on a postpaid

Yet lahat ng nag ooffer ng lending may utang siya.

    Utang ang pinambabayad sa utang.

    Kuripot! Hehe...

About plans, I used to pay for the postpaid of my daughter but when she graduated and found a job, she asked me to cut the plan and got her own prepaid plan. Yun pala, ayaw niya ma-traced ko un calls and texts niya. Hayun, sometimes walang load naghingi ng pasa load. *toink*
