I have this female staff (in her late 20s) who keeps on ranting almost every morning regarding her parents not giving her gas allowance.
Doctors see money in the 40's na. If he/she is lucky mid to late 30's
Its not really a turn off if a girl can't stand on her own in her 30's. After all its a man's job to provide.
I'll be insulted if I were to rely or even let a girl spend money on me. Unless it's a gift...
Well that's just me.
Instead of asking money from parents bat hindi nalang magadjust ng lifestyle?
I can live off 10k-15k a month and I'm sure people in their 30s earn more than that.

- okay lang makitira sa parents at that age as long as yung mga gastos para sa sarili, hindi na dapat iasa sa magulang. e.g. Fuel, cellphone bill, luho, etc.
+1. If you can't afford to buy a fuel, then don't drive a car.
Well, kanya kanya yan.
It does not bother me or turn off kung dependent pa sa parents yung girl. It's natural imo that parents baby the girl Lalo na kung only girl.
We're completely different.
I think women are equally capable of earning as men.
My friend who's only 22 can afford to rent a place in Makati and pay off her own bills. I know how much she earns and I'm sure most people in their late 20s and 30s earn more already. It's more of a mentality - that it's okay to be dependent because you're a girl.
Madali din maspoil sa lifestyle na kinalakihan lalo na if your parents are wealthy. But that's their money and not yours - I believe you should try to be as self-sufficient as early as you can, regardless of gender, and that means starting with a simple lifestyle. Which is why I'm proud of my friend who comes from a wealthy Chinese family, but since she works at SGV (which everyone knows pays crap to entry level employees), she opts to take the MRT from Mandaluyong to Makati instead of bringing a car because she doesn't want to have her parents pay for her fuel.
I'm not flame-baiting here ha, we just have differing opinions.
