Someone should start a thread, "Is being gay wrong? Yes or No. Explain why."
That would be a hot topic as well...

Of course you can't, you're not one of them.
Wag maging socially judgmental, that's all I have to say.
The more discriminatory you are to others, the more they will be to you.
Genetics is a factor, di lang social.

Yup, I still remember a classmate I had in Nursery, at that age he had already shown all the signs that he was effeminate. and he had two older brothers who were toughies in school.Originally Posted by ILuvDetailing

sorry ot
I am never going to lie to my child about her gay aunts or her gay uncle. And if she does decide to become gay... I'll admit, it'll hurt... but only because it means no grandkids for me. I'll still love her, though.
sorry 'bout that. didnt know that you had gay relatives.
well, I guess there are 2 sides to a coin. protecting or exposing 'em from it has both advantages or disadvantages.

i think part of the reason why gay people in the philippines are not accepted is because many of them seem to go out of their way to be hated. when we moved to the philippines i was very surprised at the way gay males behaved there...puro scandal, maingay, ***ually harrassing straight males and embarrassing them in public. dito kasi gay men have obvious tendencies but otherwise behave like straight people...and they usually don't go out looking for trouble.
i think both straight and gay people over there should learn to live and let live.
i hope i don't come across as a judgemental outsider here, but i had some irritating experiences with gay men over there (i lived there through high school)
Good naman... just keep the arguments civil, guys.Originally Posted by city

It's those kinds of people who give other gays a bad name. Thankfully, of all the gay people I've known, though, konting konti lang ang ganuun. But since they're the loudest and most obvious, sila ang nakikita ng mga tao.
I was thinking about this last night, and I was going to post sana na ganun din... 2 sides... because we do have an obligation to protect our children from misleading images and information regarding things such as "***" and "homo***uality". That's the only reason why I don't want to hide it from my kid... because if they learn about it from others first, I won't be able to guide them about it, because I won't know what preconceptions other people have given them.Originally Posted by oldblue
