i am not saying that you do. its just if you are really close friends, then you should talk about it and make clear or get your friend's thoughts on it.
mahirap mag assume. kadalasan mali.
and assuming that you got the assumptions wrong, then would you throw away your years of friendship?
on the assumptions that you are right, then you make the decision based on it. or let your friend talk to his dad on it.

Hi Cathy, I suggest you return the money then tell your friend about it, you don't need the money anyway. If you did not take any offense tell him that none was taken. Don't burden yourself with it. The sooner you return it and talk to your friend the sooner it will be over and you can move on. On another note if you really like your friend and he really likes and respects you as well then there's nothing to worry about.

Sorry Cathy, I admit I don't know you enough to answer but if I take this at face value, this is my opinion. Apologies if I miss the mark on any of the details...

If you're 'seeing' a guy that's 15 years your senior, his dad is probably taking hint that you're interested with older guys. Still, that doesn't make it right for him to hit on you. To me, that particular family is just too weird and I would think long and hard if I want to be a part of it in the future.

And as the others have mentioned, return the money.
