Tokyo Tokyo's "Auto Ko 'To," the last man standing car challenge promo, was a first of its kind.
Thirty six contestants were made to endure 36 hours standing with their right hand stuck on the car which would be their winning prize.
It started Saturday (May 21) and ended Sunday (May 22) at the SM Megamall car park area. It was in connection with Tokyo Tokyo's 20th anniversary capped with some entertainment numbers by Dulce, Gabriel Valenciano, Micah Muno and Lana Jalosjos hosted by Franco Mabanta.
Unbelievable, but true—the winner was not the last man standing but a lady named Ma. Cristina Mata, who won a Honda City Car. She is 29 years old and a Med Rep, who outshone 39 other contestants. Second placer Derie Alangilan won P5,000 cash plus complimentary certificates from Tokyo Tokyo and Timex watch from Gift Gate.
As we always say, no guts, no glory. All participants went under heavy scrutiny and have passed all health tests.
i saw it also here in taiwan sa TV news car din yung prize... they only have 5minutes to pee or disposing waste, while eating and drinking must be done while standing......
