ang advice sa amin is to stay inside our homes because we're 40 miles inland and are not in a low-lying (i.e. floodable) area.
yung mga may bahay sa coast ay naka-evacuate na. another thing is all houses bult after Andrew (mine is two years old) is built to specs that will (theoretically) withstand these winds.
we have the option to go to a shelter but all my neighbors and i are going to stick it out. i hope it's the right decision.
the wind has already picked up and at this point i'm not going to risk the roads and highways.
