Happened to a friend of mine. Di na sya binalikan nung girl. the Girl stayed with the american for good. I said he should be thankful to the american that he revealed the true color of his ex-wife.

My answer is a flat no. I don't care if it's her decision. I prefer to do it the proper way, and we did. If the guy is in the states, (he should) get a good job, save up on money, and buy a house.

Having a house of your own here is the quickest way to get your GF here (besides the usual waiting time). Or.....join the military. The 5 year wait is knocked down to 3 years or even less if you get your commander involved in the process.

Oops. That last one is for citizenship, I think. I've seen a few Pinoys in the military get their fiancee/wife here fairly quick with a little help from their commanders.

Cheating the system? Don't do it no matter how tempting.
