Hello fellow tsikoteers! My girlfriend and I are set to get married this August 2005. Can you suggest a place that we can spend our honeymoon. We prefer going out of the country sana, but within Asia lang probably.

Love your own pare. Boracay. Palawan. Mactan Island Shangri-La or Plantation Bay. Bohol. Davao. Vigan. Pagudpud.

Kaya lang maulan pala ngayong panahon.

HK na nga lang. Unless beach talaga type mo, I wonder if Bali is better now.

If you love beaches then I recommend Phi Phi beach and Phuket in Thailand.
Been on that paradise both once. I just don't know how it look like now after the Indian Tsunami.

.. inisip namin dati ni wifey mag-honeymoon out of the country .. tapos pinagisipan namin .. what for? .. sa honeymoon dapat relax ka lang .. dapat feeling mo sa inyo lang yung oras .. walang hinahabol .. kung mag-a-abroad kami .. kelangan pa namin mag-sight seeing or mag-shopping .. ma-s-stress pa kami ng ganoon .. so we decided beach nalang .. inisip namin phuket or bali .. tapos inisip namin we've been there before and mas maganda pa rin beach natin dito .. so dito nalang kami sa pinas .. el nido, palawan .. very private .. very nice ..

The best place to go is Sydney and Melbourne. The sights are beautiful, the food is fantastic, and the people are quite relaxed. No bombings. No shopping, so not that expensive. No worries, as the Aussies would say.

I agree with mrpink kung beach beach lang dito na lang. Laki pa nang matitipid mo.

Sydney and Melbourne in August should be nice. Still a bit nippy but manageable. Promo airfare on Qantas (return) during this period will be around US$450. Add a token $170 and Qantas takes you all the way to Christchurch. From there, your tour options are endless. Head to Queensland or Rakaia Gorge (Canterbury region) for jet boating, fish, hike, ride horses, wine tours. I'd consider visiting the LOTR set about 90 minutes away. Bed and breakfast and resort accomodations are cheap outside the City, and so is the food.

If you want a beach setting, Hilton Bali or Sheraton Nusa Dua (Lagoon Room) are quaint choices. For more upscale accomodations, the Four Seasons of course.

You can't go wrong with Mauritius or the Maldives but will require a higher budget.

    Have fun. Make it last!

eto pre..before you decide to go somewhere for your honeymoon, talk with your wife to be muna. ask her of her dream honeymoon. and then, you could start from there...it's not about what you like, it's where she wants it.

    my suggestion...BALI, Indonesia.

I agree with plantation bay in Mactan. The place is so quiet and clean... Perfect for honeymooning. Most of their guest are foreigners so feeling mo you are outside of the philippines.

i would highly recommend a 30 day tour of europe.....been to australia last year, i would recommend Italy more than Australia

if beach is your passion, just go to Plantation Bay or Boracay instead of Bali or Phuket....
