Are you intimidated by girls who has a better ride? Or If your married what will you do if she has a far better car than yours? Will you try to convince her to give it up? I find it difficult to give up my car, though he tried many times to sell it, it's still here with me. Nobody wants to buy my 02 civic vti for 650k.....As one would say presyong ayaw magpabenta.

No. My wife's cousins (they're all female) all drive Nissan Maxima V6s except one who recently moved up to an Infiniti g35 AWD. I drive an 06 Sonata V6. I don't feel intimidated at all. If my wife had the better car, I'd be driving it too. Right now, she's driving my old 95 Ford Contour. I've been asking her to get a new car like a V6 Altima or maybe another Ford like the Fusion V6..... She refused.

What's your hubby's reason for selling your car? Also, what's he driving right now?

Add: A long time ago, my ex-fiancee drove a Chevy Camaro IROC-Z (5.7L V8, 245hp). I drove a Nissan Pulsar NX with 55hp. I wasn't intimidated she owned a better car. I was intimidated by HER at first because I thought she was way, way too gorgeous for me. But, she liked me. So that passed too. She certainly gave my confidence a big push.

There's no reason for a guy to be intimidated by a girl with the better car.

no way, especially kung magasawa na kami, I will be glad to drive it too..hehhe and no pun intended to the tread starter, but a '02 civic is not a car that I will be intimidated with....so tell your BF/husband that he need to see a doctor for he has so much insecurities in him...

another thing is if my wife drives a ferrari, then I will be proud bec for a woman who have a ferrari and married me, then I must have something better than a ferrari...hhehhe

I'd be intimidated if I encounter a girl who drives better than me. As for better ride, I won't be intimidated at all.

Guys intimated by girls that have better cars should be considered a loser with no self-esteem.

You should ask yourself these questions:
    1. Insecure ba sya sakin?
    2. Bakit sya nakikialam?
    3. Who bought the car?
    4. Is he gay?
    5. What have I gotten myself into? (You'll probably say this after you sold the car hehehe if may sentimental value.)

I'm never intimidated by ladies with better rides than me, whether it's my wife or otherwise. I consciously chose the ride I'm using today, and I haven't regretted a single moment of it.

Lagi kong naririnig kay misis na gusto niya ng Jimny; although it's technically a better vehicle than mine, I'm glad that she's developing such a taste in cars. I can't wait for her to get behind the wheel and experience the joys of being independently mobile.

Baka ma-insecure siguro ako kung mas luma ang kotse na gusto niya. "Syet, buti pa siya, naka-old school." :charing:

It's hard for me to get intimidated by a woman with material things. It's also hard for me to get intimidated by a woman who's better at a skill than I am. On the other hand, the "HOTTIE" factor. The prettier and ***ier the woman, the more red-faced I'll be, at least initially. The awkward feeling wears off eventually. But, still. It occasionally shows up even at my age now.

If I had a date with her (assuming I was single), I wouldn't know what to say at first until she breaks the ice. Of course, I'll be grinning like an idiot:

    why would i be intimidated?

if she has a better car, then i'm happy for her. because if it's better, it means it's safer, more comfortable, etc etc.

if she's a better driver, yun pwede. pero this will become a challenge for me to learn to driver better than she does
