    There is a strong tendency for someone to marry someone within the same profession when the early years of their careers have agonizingly long working hours. I have friends like that, they met at work because they're always at work. All those overtime dinners are just company paid dates

    Doctors, Lawyers, and other professionals are probably the prime examples of this.

    many of our teachers-doctors, were married to nurses.
    same reason. same circumstance.
