Tinatamaan na naman ako depression, I need na ata yung sinabi ni mons sa Rivotril. I'm supposed to meet my friends pero wala ako gana mag ayos saka wala rin ako gana makipagusap sa tao. I don't care so much if I look like sh1t later It's almost 2024 jobless pa rin ako

I'm not capable of functioning in the morning hehe. Sa Industry ko kasi wala naman 100% WFH

Hamas hostages drugged before release to Israel to look happy: report

The hostages who have been freed by Hamas from the Gaza Strip were given tranquilizer pills before being transferred to Israel in a bid to make them appear happier following their treatment in captivity, a report says.

Dr. Hagar Mizrahi, the head of the Israeli Ministry of Health’s medical division, told the Israeli government about the alleged druggings on Tuesday, according to The Times of Israel.

The newspaper reports that Mizrahi named the drug clonazepam, which is known outside of Israel as Klonopin and Rivotril. It would have made the hostages appear calm, happy and upbeat after suffering physical abuse, deprivation and psychological terror at the hands of the Palestinian terrorist group, the report said.

The National Institutes of Health describes clonazepam as being "used to relieve panic attacks," among other purposes.

from the view of an observer a person who's on benzos would appear calm

coz the drug calmed the person down to a zombie-like state

nakaka stress for the family members of someone who has anxiety disorder

coz people like that constantly need someone to listen to their concerns

when you put them on benzos they shut up / go to sleep -- which is good for family members (hulog ng langit ung gamot)

if you're the one taking the drug, you're not really calm and happy... you're a zombie

you just appear calm and happy on the outside
