My wife and I had been married for almost 14 years now. We planned our wedding on our own and it took us about a year to prepare for it. The best anecdote I could remember was when my wife heard some comments from her relatives. We opted for a sit-down meal instead of buffet.

Relatives (talking among themselves): "Bakit hindi buffet?"
Wife to me: "Ok lang hindi buffet, Manila Pen naman. Di sila makakapasok dito kung sila-sila lang."

    in our experience,
"only the younger guests-cum-eating machines prefer buffet. the more mature guests prefer sit-down."
they don't want to get buffeted in the pila.

Uso ata to see the northern lights. 5 colleagues of mine just came back this Tuesday from Sweden, Finland and Iceland. They took Aurora tours something. But that's really expensive ata. I guess the usual Europe destinations (France, Italy and Spain) are not exciting for well travelled people anymore

yan aurora kasi. ano yan. yun sinag ng araw sa hollow earth kas. kasi may mundo talaga sa loob ng earth, tapos may sarile sila SUN

never ako pupunta dyan sa alaska or kahit sa antarctica. kasi yan gas na yan. na tinitignan nyo, may mind altering yan, dami anti-christ naging anti-christ sa history coz they went to see the northern lights

wag kayo papaniwala masyado dyan sa mga filipino celebs na nagpupunta sa Iceland. sa Paris or London na lang dulo ko. naging war freak nakakakita ng northern aurora lights. like the Vikings, the Irish, the Siberian Russians, atsaka. yun mga galing Alaska sa Amerika. na dun daw nanggagaling mga serial killers ng America. ive read several articles na regarding that. and also movies by Al Pacino, Jeremy Renner etc.

There are couples who prefer “destination”wedding. Overseas trip mostly sa european countries, photoshoot and straight honeymoon na. Then yung wedding ceremony nila simple na lang.

Me & my ex-gf (now my wife) most of the time during dates split ang bill namin. My gf’s before when i was younger, all the time ako.

My parents were offering to help with the expenses when we were married. But i politely declined. [emoji4]

Buti na lang that year malaki ang bonus namin. God is good talaga...

Normal pala for the BF to take care of everything financially. Though personally I think hindi dapat puro receive lang ang babae. Naisip ko kasi though it's cheaper to travel now, mabigat pa din yun for an employee. I never experienced going on an over night trip with a BF kasi.

It's nice to know na chivalrous pa din guys. I should stop watching Tulfo kasi mga reklamo dun puro babae gumagastos hahaha
