Hi, what is the acceptable attire when going to dates / gmiks?

Ok lang ba na you go there in your business attire (polo and tie)? And just roll up your sleeves?

It also depends what kind of place you are planning to hangout, and mood of the place. Kung clubbing or dinner, light sportscoat with poloshirts under, no tie, i thinks cool lang sa chicks 'yun. Para hindi overkill. Pero kung walk in the park, casual shirts with chino pants oks din. I would not wear jeans esp kung medyo bago pa lang kayong nagde-date. Good Luck, bro. It's how you would carry the conversation that counts.

Roll the sleeves, open the topmost or top two button/s, leave your tie in the glove compartment.

ok na yun pare. galing ka naman ng office eh, just like what bos otep suggested. pero sa akin acceptable din maski naka tie as long as naka rollup yung sleeves. minsan meron din kasing combination ng business pants tsaka shirt na hindi maganda pag walang tie eh. i'm sure your date will understand. just smell fresh and look fresh, ok na yun.

Kinakabahan kasi ako kapag naka-necktie. Hehehe. Pero maganda din naman kung meron.

Ganyan ang attire ng tatay ko kapag naglelecture, eh. Rolled sleeves tapos naka-tie and slacks.

yeah just look nice man, pero I wont blame you kung gusto mo japorms ka talaga. ok din yung short sleeve polo (ok yung me small prints but not plaid) yung medyo tight sa katawan tapos black or gray square pants with cuff sa dulo (di na uso yung baggy slacks...nauso ulit yung baston) tapos black socks and square toe shoes preferably black. If you have those nice bead necklace ok din yun or yung silver/white gold/platinum necklace.

    Tamang model ng GQ!

Mas maganda alamin mo place na pupuntahan ninyo. Para you have an idea kung ano susuot mo.

Groovy pants, striped socks and Gregg shoes to compliment it. Sabay patubo ka ng moustache (spelling?) & 70's long hair...

kapag galing sa office at naka long sleeve ang tie pa:

    1. take off the tie
    2. take off the long sleeve
    3. leave the shirt or tanktop
    4. wrap the long sleeve shirt on your waist
    5. pull your pants up as high as it could go
    6. fold the seams of your pant to reveal your white socks

    works every time!!

kung maganda built ng body, medyo unbotton ur bottons, mga 3 buttons, lakas ng dating sa kin nun tuatal galing naman ng office... i ofetn see jap young salary men, ang cute tignan, minsan naka-suit pa sila pero alis yung necktie, and medyo bukas...

kung ordinary day, t-shirt and jeans and sneakers... kung ano bagay sa yo ok lang... or minsan mala-dominic ochoa, parang ang neat tignan =)
