I was 25 when I got my first lot, 350sq.m. Then 27 when my house was finished. Got my 2nd lot last year from NHA subd, 2 yun pero sa ate ko nakapangalan yung isa para makuha ko lang.

Hindi bro, mura lang kasi sa province and nagtipid talaga ako ever since kasi I wan't to have my own home agad.

target ko din witihin 5 years...we were supposed to get H&L this year or next year through a housing loan, but after some computations, mas malaki pa babayaran namin in monthly interest kesa sa upa namin ngayon, so we decided to continue renting for now and save the supposed difference between the monthly amortization and rent. so after 5 years, if we still cant afford buying cash then maliit na lang ang loan...hirap talaga ng galing sa mahirap na pamilya

after getting married we also rented an appartment for 6 years. yun ang pinagsisihan ko. sayang yung ibinayad ko sa rent. I would suggest you get your H&L now. bilis tumaas ng construction materials. price today would probably cost more than 2X after five years. what i did was to buy a lot habang nag-rent kami. after 2 years i applied for a housing loan ( lot purchase and house construction ) and built my house. since nakapagbayad na ako ng 2 years sa lupa wala na binayaran na equity. yung monthly amortization for the H&L now is actually the same as my rent + lot amortization before.

built house * 30, bank loan 7 years to go, reason why I wont get a new car until the current one is past 10 years old.
