Yup, semi synth yung ZIC A. As for the Motul, tama si CB, it's group 3 but tagged as synth on the packaging.

At the next OCI, the 2007 Altis will also get ZIC A + Ceratec.

Nope.

Group 2: Mineral base oil (Conventional aka Dinosaur oil)
Group 3: Mineral base oil

Additive package, mineral base oil refining processes, and tests determines if it is a 2 or a 3.

Mejo magulo lang because sa US, group 3 can be marketed as synthetic/fully synthetic/etc.

Yung Htech as far as i know is group3 base oil. If so, semi synthetic din.

Thanks sa suggestion bro.

Plano ko yung castrol edge with titanium sa 40k PMS ng ASX ko, cost 829.75pesos per liter. Since hindi recommended ang FS sa diesel engine with DPF, plano ko naman sa everest yung castrol magnatec sa 10k PMS. (not sure kung may DPF nga ang everest)

To sum up;
ASX 40k PMS - Castrol Edge 5W-40sn (829pesos)
Eve 10k PMS - Castrol magnatec 10w-40 (339pesos per liter)

Sa DIY hardware store pa lang ako nagkakita ng castrol dito sa province namin.

Sa ASX, with that budget, suggestion ko mag Royal Purple ka nalang. Siguradong 100% synthetic.

retz, both of them are group3 base oil. depende nalang sa budget mo yan. if nasa 300+ budget mo per liter/quart, go for top1 na. if lesser than 300, Zic Up ka na.

ok naman Zic Up. Narinig na ni Chiksilog engine nung FM ko. ang tahimik daw nung engine hehe
